They both had comparable strengths and weaknesses. Playing R1 was just a better memory for me because it was my first PS3 game. But by the time R2 came out, there was just so many more better games to spend your time on, and still are. I might end up selling R2, but I'll always keep R1.
As much as I loved the first, I refuse to buy a Wii for this. I still have the original any way.

Wait a second, isn't this just the joke itself? They aren't flat out saying Col. Campbell will be the hero, THAT's the joke. Everyone is jumping to conclusions. The cane doesn't mean it has to be Campbell as if no one else could have a cane.
This isn't a reveal, it's a joke to play on everyone guessing about the image before, which I saw a cane there from the beginning, and didn't rush to think it must be Campbell.
